The location is not perfect, but neither bad. There are some shabby unoccupied buildings south of Maine Avenue which makes the area looks bad, but let me say it is safe. The staff was very courteous, the housekeeping service was great, they came every morning to change bed sheets and towels and remove unwanted garbage and oh course to clean the room. The restaurant food was good. The bed mattresses are HARD AS BRICK, that was the only thing i could not take as it disrupted my rest. The shuttle runs every hour, it leaves the hotel on the hour to Ballys and leaves Ballys 15 after the hour back to the hotel. The problem with the shuttle is that it can carry only 18 passengers at a time, so most times guests that depends on the free Flagship shuttle have to wait another hour for the next shuttle. A few more shuttles need to be available especially in the peak seasons. There is a Jitney shuttle that runs 2 short blocks away from the hotel and charges $2.25 per person so most times we took it. Far cheaper that the cost for the cabs. We had a wonderful balcony view of the boardwalk and over view North of the city. May go again provided that they change those mattresses.
