I Stayed On: July 22, 2008    I stayed here because: Price
Would I recommend it? No Way    My visit was for: Family Vacation    My Age is: 35 - 49

My Wife and I stayed in the Ocean Tower and booked 2 rooms for our family for 3 days. I asked for adjoining rooms in writing when I made the reservations. We checked in at 3:00pm on Tuesday and they didn't even know I booked 2 rooms. I had to tell them I had 2 adjoining rooms reserved. Now out of 878 rooms in the hotel, they could not give me or find 2 adjoining rooms. Makes you wonder. One room had a musty smell like damp or mold. The other room smelled a little better. There is no complimentary coffee in the rooms, no safes and no hair dryer either. The bathroom in both rooms were old in need of repair, paint chipping off wall, dim lighting, mold in tile grout lines, tiles dull from wear and dirty. The bathrooms were not clean, one still had pee on the floor around the toilet, the other toilet was dirty when you lifted the seat. My wife said the sheets and bed spreads had a smell. The TV is old (not flat screen) and the furniture and walls have seen better days. We were on the 5th floor and the ocean view was good from one room, the other room was no view at all, just a cement wall of their hotel. We go to Atlantic City often and have stayed at other casinos but this was a big disappointment. For the money it was not worth it at all. For another $15 more we could have stayed at the Showboat where we have stayed before. Needless to say we gave Resorts a try and we have no plans to ever come back here again. You may want to check around before you decide to stay here. It will save you from disappointment. Bottom line.....you get what you pay for.
