Description:
The Tropicana Atlantic City Casino is located on the Boardwalk between the Hilton and Trump Plaza casinos. The Tropicana has 2,124 guest rooms in 3 hotel towers: North Tower, South Tower and newer Havana Tower. Features 19 Restuarants including the Quarter, 12 bars, nightclubs & lounges, Blue Mercury Spa, poker room, indoor heated pool and more.

We were there for a 26th birthday party and didn't really know what to expect. We all had a great time and the rooms were really nice. Loved the blue/white theme. It was awesome to be on the boardwalk as well.

While I can't say it was by far a horrible stay, it wasn't a great one either. We spent a lot of time just trying to find things we were looking for. It was very confusing trying to get around the casino floor. The room was very clean, yet there was a drainage problem in the bathroom. Also, anything you wanted extra in the room you have to pay for, i.e, refridgerator. but this is the case in all the AC casinos. I would stay here again, but will most likely try another casino up on the north end of the boardwalk. If you want a room for a good value, then this is a great place to stay, but you do need to walk a lot if you want to enjoy the other casinos, which are located grouped together.

Pros: The staff is very nice and so helpful. The casino is so Big that I need directions to get around.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind. Would be nice to have a shuttle bus to the train station.

My husband and I have stayed at the tropicana twice. Both times were good experiences. The staff is very friendly and so helpful. I have a terrible sense of direction and the casino is so big that I am always getting lost but with the staff there to direct me I always get where I need to be. We have always gotten a nice room at a reasonable rate. We travel by train and I guess my only complaint is that we can never find a shuttle bus that goes to the Tropicana. They seem to go to the other casinos but not to the Tropicana. I would and have recomended the Tropicana to others.

Pros: The food was good, had a variety of prices, got the exact room I ordered.
Cons: The Buffet was not open in the winter, but it worked out cause I had the best buffet in showboat

My boyfriend and I went for Valentine's Day week. It was great. We got the room we ordered which seems to be a problem in hotels and resorts. The staff was nice, the food was great, and the prices were good.

My wife and I stayed here in the Havana Tower for our anniversary. We were assigned the type of room we asked for with an ocean view and it was extremely nice. The restaurants were great, service was always available and the casino had many options. Was there a year before and would definetly go back again.

I had a wonderful stay at the Tropicana. The new Quarter/ Havana section gave an authentic Cuban feel. The staff was very accomadating. I recieved an oceanview room without even asking. Everything was immaculate and the comfort of the bed felt like home. You can not beat the price either!!! I would definatly stay here again!!

Asked for nonsmoking rooms & received a smoking rooms. It took 45 minutes to change rooms/receive new room keys. Excellent assortment of resteraunts. Good coupons to save $$$. Extra large casino - in fact it's too large for my taste. Friendly Casino staff/waitresses. Our party had an excellent time at the Tropicana and will return again. Would recommend for others.

For the price we paid, the room itself wasn't up to our standards. There was hardly any water pressure and the beds were so hard. The pillows were uncomfortable as well. I still have horrible neck pain 2 days later.

The casino and restraunts were amazing. That's why we love the Trop.

Pros: The location of the Trop is great...right on the boardwalk, close enough to walk to shopping.
Cons: There were dirty dishes in the hallway for 2 days. That's a turn-off.

My husband and I had a nice weekend at the Trop. Our room was in the Havana Tower. Nice room, could see the ocean a bit from the room. There is so much to do in the Trop or you're close enough to walk to the pier and the walk. Ate at the buffet and Hooters and both were good. We love the Dog store..think it's called Jakes Dog House. We've stayed at other hotels before, but we would come back to the Trop again.
