Location is fabulous, hotel is relatively quiet with no casino and is a good place for families.

Overall, La Renaissance is great place to stay for the price. Took the family (me, the wife and 2 young daughters) and it was a great place for families. Located right on the boardwalk, with easy access to the beach. Has a small rooftop pool that was excellent for the kids and a 6 person hot tub for adults. The rooms were more then adequate, slept 4 comfortably and the view was awesome! Staff was very accomodating and the place was clean. The only negative was the parking garage, I have an SUV, which fit into the garage but it was a tight fit, manuevering the SUV around the garage was a bit of a challenge but was better then parking outside (there was a brief hail storm when we were there which damaged a few cars, so staying in the garage was a benefit).I would recommend this hotel for those with families that are looking for a place that has a great location and is priced well below the casinos.

We were very pleased with the staff at this hotel. Everyone was accommodating and helpful. The suite was very large and clean. The view was fabulous! While you are near all the places you might want to visit in AC, I did not care for the surrounding neighborhood. The entrance to the hotel is a little obscure and inconvenient. However, it was a nice place to stay in AC.

My husband and I both loved La Renaissance. I was a bit apprehensive after reading some of the reviews and I will admit that I was a bit wary when we drove up to the entrance; however, upon entering the hotel and getting to our room, my opinion completely changed. The car garage was not as bad as it seemed based upon reviews I read--actually, my husband and I thought it was very convenient. We had a great oceanfront room with a huge kitchen/living room. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The pool area on the rooftop was great as well.I thought the location was perfect--right on the boardwalk, close to the activities, and yet not right by the casinos so we were able to sleep at night. Overall, we had a great time in Atlantic City, and if we travel there again, we will plan to stay at La Renaissance.

I spent a weekend here and I did not regret it. It was my birthday, and I made it known to the desk clerk and she gave us a wonderful room. The view of the ocean was superb. Before booking I read reviews and apparently those bad reviews people gave was totally uncalled for. Sometimes it's good to take a chance and check it out for yourself, it may turn out to be worth every penny- and it was for us.
