Description:
The La Renaissance Suites has recently been renovated (Dec 2007). All Suite hotel with Jacuzzis in every room. Includes business services, free parking, fitness equipment, restaurants, casinos and shopping close by. All rooms are suites and include kitchenettes with refrigerator, internet access, A/C, patio, jetted tubs.

Not the best I've seen, June 11, 2010

Pros:
For the price package that I paid through the reservation center and the proximity to the boardwalk.
Cons:
The parking situation was horrible.We were in the wrong room and then we had to move ourselves.

I had explained to the reservation center that we would most likely need an early check-in. When we arrived around noon, nothing was yet available so we inquired as to storing our luggage until the room was ready. Not only could they not accomodate the luggage, but we were advised that they could not bring the luggage up and no one would be able to call us once the room was ready. We waited at the front desk to see if there were any other options and they realized that one of there rooms was truly unoccupied. Happily, we took everything up only to realize that it was not the correct room size that I'd booked.
The parking garage was cramped and hard to manuever. The location of the hotel to the boardwalk was great. The location to the main street was not.

i would stay in this hotel again, we stayed in a one bedroom suite for three days. It was clean and spacious. it came with a jetted tub and a balcony. The ocean view was beautiful. housekeeping and guess service was nice.

We stayed here on New Years Day. We wanted a place close enough to the boardwalk casinos without paying the New Years Day prices of the casino-hotels. La Renaissance is right on the boardwalk toward the further end. It was a bit of a walk, but on a nice day, taking a taxi wasn't necessary. The staff was really nice. Parking is free but the deck is really, really tight. Our one-bedroom suite was quite nice. The bathroom was updated. However, the linens didn't look very clean. And another con would be that we were able to hear our neighbors next door. Otherwise, we had a great stay. The pool and jacuzzi are open until 10pm and is heated during the winter. The view from the pool is amazing, which overlooks the beach. I would recommend this place if you are looking for an economical place to stay along the boardwalk.

My fiance and I stayed her with his sister and a friend to celebrate her 21st birthday. We were looking for something low cost with a good location. We found it! I would say it wasn't anything fancy, but it was what we were looking for. It was great for our needs! Clean, but outdated. Minimal smokey smell, but nothing horrible. Friendly staff. Liked the gated parking garage!

While conveniently located on the board walk, this hotel was very tacky! You have to be buzzed in, just to get into the lobby, and God forbid, the one desk clerk has to use the bathroom or decideds to stretch her legs, a sign goes up that reads " Will be back in 15 minutes" mean while, my guest and I are standing outside with 4 bags of luggage waiting for her to come back from where ever she ventured off to, to buzz us in. Then once inside of the lobby, we were told that our room wasn't ready, when we already called and confirmed that our room would be ready at 2:30 pm, we didnt get a room until 3:30pm. So not only do we wait out side after a tiring 3 hour ride to AC, but now we get to enjoy the lobby couch for an hour, because the house keepers were running behind schedule.

My husband and I have been staying here for many years. We just love the location, it is centrally located between casinos, and is also very close to the boardwalk, just a short walk and you're there. The rooms are very clean, and contain all the amennities you need. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We just can't say enough good things about this hotel, we really feel at home when we are here and would recommend it to everyone.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We usually stay at Casino hotels, but now that we have 2 children, we needed more space. The people who work at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our suite was spacious, clean, and had everything we could ask for. We had a great stay and would defintiely come again!

We stayed 2 nights and it was a good value. The building doesn't look very nice from the outside but that wasn't our priority. We did not use the exercise equip, pool table, swimming pool, or hot tub due to lack of time. The hotel room was quiet at night. Other guests were not noisy and we did not notice noise from the boardwalk.

I stayed at this hotel on 3/18/09-3/20/09.
I had a two bedroom suite and it looked like a cheap box of cereal.The carpet had a funky smell like bad feet.The kitchen stove:two burners didn't work. House keeping came the next morning and asked for the dirty laundry.I asked housekeeping for more wash cloths and towels while giving her the washcloths and towels that were dirty.The house keeper stated that she will be back in 2 hours after she wash the dirty laundry that I gave her.I went to the front desk and asked the receptionist about the protocall for new wash cloths and towels to a room.And do they have extra linens for the hotel.Later that day the kids went swimming and the room was cold and no heat.The heaters were broken all 5 or 6 of the heaters were not working.I called from the pool area to the front desk and told the receptionist about this matter.The front desk stated that it has been broken for a while because other customers complained, therfore there was no heat, no extra linen and a funky room. I rate this hotel an 0 star. cheap, but not worth the stay!!!!!!! :angry and upset family.

The price was great for this place. We had a wonderful view of the ocean. We had the pool area to ourselves. Overall it was great. Balcony good. extra everything towel, soap, etc  You also have your own kitchen Little far from the Casinos if you dont feel like walking, but the walk wasnt that bad either. 3rd time staying here.
