Pros: The customer service was exceptional
Cons: The vending machine was out of order and you are forced to go to the Lobby store to purchase a drink

The Courtyard itself is a beautiful hotel. The lobby was gorgeous! The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond. Due to a mix-up, they had me down that I was booked for two rooms. One of the rooms was already booked but the cancellation for the other room was never sent. The front desk did mention that I should try to call the people I booked my hotel with because she will have to charge me for the additional room and / or the cancellation. I called and the office was closed. The front desk attendant went above and beyond and got the night manager. They were able to cancel my second room AND not charge me for it!! I know most hotels would have still charged you. I definitely know that most front desk attendants would not have went above and beyond like she did. I did not ask to speak to a manager, she took the initiative and did that on her own.

When we needed something, it was brought to our room right away, no questions asked. Housekeeping kept the room clean and at the same room temperature we left it at.

Overall, it was a nice stay at the Courtyard. And I will definitely do it again.

I was extremely happy with all this hotel had to offer. i was in town for a very short time and needed something affordable, clean, comfortable, with a good location for my needs. I would recommend this hotel to anyone without hesitation.

My girlfriend and i have stay at many Marriott hotels and this one was one of the best we stayed in. It was right around the block from Resorts and one from there we could party at the Taj and Showboat. Room was clean and bathroom was a good size. Frontdesk was very helpfull when i called them for extra towels. Housekeeping was quick getting to the room. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

No problem getting elevator. Walking a block to boardwalk not a problem. Hopefully they won't jack up their reasonable prices, that's what's most attractive. When we stayed, they had no more king sized beds available, so try to make that clear when booking. Very nice lobby. You can be sure they'll be Professional at front desk, to live up to Marriott name. Don't expect the usual Marriott amenities, though nice enough.

This new hotel is entirely "non-smoking" and that information was not made available in advance. I actually booked a smoking room only to find there were none when I arrived.

I stayed in this same building when it was owned by some other hotel and I must say the physical improvements are great.

Now if they could only find someplace to let guests park without paying $12 a day for it.

I think next time I'll go back to the Flagship tower. The lower rooms have patios where guests can have a cigarette and although the Flagship hotel is older it still has nice amenities.

I guess I should write a review of them too.

It is cheaper to park at the Taj for $5 a day and just walk your luggage one block over to the hotel.

The Courtyard by Marriott is a very nice new building with a couple of things I did not like. The place is new clean and comfortable with 26 inch LG televisions in the rooms and wireless or wired internet. However we could not get connected to thee network. The mandatory valet parking is a bad idea as it costs both time and money. I would like to have provided a review of the breakfast buffet but it closes at 10:00 AM.

I was very happy with my stay at the Marriott Courtyard. I arrived to a pleasant staff and a clean & comfortable room. The price of the hotel is very reasonable considering it is newer, clean, and close to the boardwalk. It is about a block or so away from the boardwalk which was very convenient. I was impressed by how clean & comfortable the room was. The only negative thing was just that you don't get much of a view from your room but other than that my stay was very enjoyable and relaxing and I would stay there again!

No safe in the room! In a casino city !?! There was a safe at the reception. The room us clean, nice, new...but built cheap. We could wait over 5 minutes to get an elevator... A 5 min. walk from the Boardwalk. A nice distance. Nice big flate TV in the room.

Don't let the below average location turn you off. This is a great hotel for your money. Just walk to it from the boardwalk and not from Pacific. Friendly staff and brand new spacious rooms make up for it.
