:rock: I realized that I would be staying in the older section of the Hotel. However, dirty windows, ripped curtains, ceilings that needed painting and tiles that should be scrubed was not what I had expected. I did sleep well, but was shocked with the hardness of the mattress. I also did not enjoy the view of the old rooftops . The bricks outside my window had been broken. It was ok, don't think I would stay there again.

Ok so after staying at the Trop this past weekend I decided to post my review of my stay here now that I have something for comparison...for the price the room at the trop was way better, it was updated and had a comfortable bed.
Upon check in at Resorts, the guy acted like he couldn't be bothered..we chose to stay here because we were going to a concert at the Showboat. The best thing about the hotel was that it was attached to the Taj by the skywalk and that's where we did our gambling.
There is no hairdryer in the room you have to ask the maid for one.
The room was huge apparently was two rooms where the center wall was taken down to make a king room so we had 2 doors and 2 bathrooms which was made up for the dated decor in the room.
Don't get sucked into the timeshare pitch as you walk out to go to the boardwalk .

Great place to go if you want to save a few bucks and you are staying with your buddies. Ladies - you don't want to be here. The rooms are filthy (ours clearly had a puke stain in the middle of the floor that was still moist when we got there). Significantly cheaper than the bigger name casinos - front desk very nice nice, casino pretty nice - decent priced tables. In a better part of town than walking to the Super 8 or Days Inn outside the strip clubs - right on the boardwalk w/in walking distance of the Showboat, Trump, WWWest, Ballys. Pretty far from the Trop.

We were able to check in at 12:30pm. Big room, huge bathroom! Bed was a little hard..only major complaint. Not much of a view. Didn'y try any of the resteraunts and was disappointed we didn't get any freebies for signing up for the destinations card in the casino. But good room for the price, no problem with the service.

The hotel was old and run down. At first glance, the rooms were clean enough. I was not impressed by the musty, dirty tiles in the bathroom or the ugly yellow bedspread. The "view" in the so-called Ocean View Tower was of a rooftop and utility fans. But the most disgusting thing was under my bed - there were beer cans and a Styrofoam take-out container!! Obviously the maids do not clean AT ALL. After that I didn't even want to touch anything in the room. Also, the air conditioning/heating unit in the room constanly ran - either too hot or too cold. No hair dryer, no coffee maker, no safe, no extra anything in the bathroom and the lightbulbs were burnt out in the vanity. We went to the buffet on a SATURDAY night at 7:30. Apparently they close at 9 - they didnt' tell us that - and they started clearing the food away from the buffet while we were in line!! I was appalled. The waiters were yelling at each other across the restaraunt - VERY unprofessional. The servers in the casino were terrible - all I wanted was a water, and 4 waitressess went by and none would serve me - they all said "I'll be right back" or "I'm not in your section." Never did get that water. We ate breakfast at a simple little restaraunt, I think it was called Boardwalk Perks. I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. It cost $4.50 and when I opened it, it was a friggin' Jimmy Dean microwavable biscuit! The "indoor/outdoor" pool was terrible - they had the doors open in September and it was freezing in there, the water temperature was also too cold to enjoy. We stayed for 3 nights and spent almost $500 for the room - I expected some variation of luxury, especially from the first hotel in Atlantic City, and I would've gotten better service from a Motel 6. I was extremely disappointed with this hotel.

The Resorts Casino Hotel was recommended by a friend who said the rooms and the price were good on a Sunday - Thursday. We came down to party with the Buffett News group before the concert and had a great time. I would definitely stay there again!

When we arrived at 11:00, we were told that we could not check in/register until 1:00. No problem - we would sit at the pool and wait. We were not allowed to use the pool until we were registered. The next day, once we checked out, by 12:00, we were no longer allowed to use the pool or any other ammenities. As we were celebrating an anniversary, we asked for a room overlooking or in sight of the ocean. What we got was a room facing air conditioning units and smoke stacks. When it came time to dine, the restaurants were closed, except for the expensive steakhouse. The next morning, as we searched for a breakfast place, again there was only one place open, and the line was out the door. We barely could get anyone to give us towels! I am one who will base a decision on the quality of customer service. The workers were unfriendly, curt, and non-helpful. Whether you receive a discounted room or not, you expect a certain level of customer service. Resorts was a true disappointment!

My husband and I stayed at the Resorts Casino Hotel in late June 2009, it was a father day gift for him. I have to say, from start to finish it was a great stay. The check in was hassle free. The room was spacious and comfortable (we both slepted beautifully). The room was extremely clean, which is VERY IMPORTANT!! The casino was wonderful and the location is right on the Boardwalk and near everything. The hallways at night are quiet and we really enjoyed the stay. We recieved a great rate, and no sooner did we get home, we recieved postcards to come back. Even a couple that we went away with, who always stay at the Taj, commented on how great Resorts casino was and that the bars were a lot of fun. I recommend it to anyone, and can't wait to return.

I was annoyed how our maid asked me if I wanted my room cleaned...That is her job, so why did she asked. Another, she asked if I needed towels....I told her yes....rather than clean our room. and give us new towels.....she handed me the towels to bring to my room. When we came back from beach...our room was not made up at all. We had to call down to have our beds made up and cleaned. Other than that, our stay was very good....

My husband and I spent 4 days at the Rendezvous Tower at Resorts and have everything good to say about our vacation. The size of the room was spectacular with a view of the bay and the ocean. It was so easy to have the valet service for the car. Anytime we needed the car it was brought to us within minutes. We had the Sunday-Friday rate for the room ($79/night) and our stay exceeded our expectations. We would definitely recommend Resorts.
