Very disappointing stay. Check-in was a disaster - much more effecient at Mohegan Sun in CT. Bally's may want to visit them and take notes. Got a "classic room." Stuck in the old Claridge - though they claim you are at Bally's. Should have been called something other than classic - no better than any economical (cheap) motel. Restaurant choices were limited - many were closed. Food was good, but for the price, the service was fair at best. For a future stay, I would choose Trump Plaza or Ceasar if I wanted mid-boardwalk location.

we enjoyed our stay there , good slotsmachines with a large varity. there were enough cocktail waitresses for those free drinks.
We especially liked the fact that they offered direct access to an adjoining casino on the boardwalk, This place seemed the best of 6 casinos we visited.

Can't complain about the price of the room except for the fact that prior to Harrah's ownership we received FREE rooms 2 or 3 times a year. Also the comps are terrible now. Also, special lines for Diamonds makes me feel like second class citizens there. I used to visit 3 times a year with free rooms and comps for meals. Buffets have tripled in price.
Room was not a clean as I would like. We were not given washcloths until our third day.
One of the elevators would not go up during our entire 4 night, 5 day stay. You would think that it would have better maintenance.
It was a get-a-way for our 40th Anniversary. Well, we got away but it was not the greatest place to celebrate but you get what you pay for.

I've stayed at Bally's multiple times and the staff has always been very helpful. The location connects multiple casinos so you don't have to walk or take cabs which is great in the winter. The deluxe rooms and suites are beautiful. The standard rooms are exactly that, standard. I've always found that Bally's has reasonable prices for their rooms. You can definitely find rooms on both ends of the spectrum, but I find Bally's to be better than average.

Our stay in Atlantic City was not what we expected and Bally's was quite rundown. It appears as though Harrah's Gaming Corporation puts more money into Harrah's than it does into updating or maintaining all of the casinos it acquired. This was our first visit to AC but frequent Vegas and our local Casino's. The majority of slots required three coins to play in all denominations ranging from $ .25 up. Machines in the $5 and up range were 2 coins. Payouts were deplorable. We went to all of the Casinos and the payouts were the same (very, very poor). Homeless people wandered in and out of the Casinos all night long, begging for money. At times it felt as if we were not in a safe environment. The Casinos should put more money into maintaining the Boardwalk and make it into an attraction . It appears as though the Gaming Corporations are only interested in making money and not providing an enjoyable stay for their customers. The comps at Bally's as with all other Harrah owned properties are terrible. We stayed for 3days /2 nights and spent over $1,000 at Bally's, we each received $5 towards food and that was all. The food was very expensive, especially in the Hotel owned snack shops etc. 2 cups of coffee and two muffins came to $14, the buffet was priced well and the food was excellent. All in all Atlantic city was the worst Gaming experience that we have had and we will not come back nor would we advise anyone else to go to Atlantic city. The Casino/Hotels should wise up and make this experience one that is enjoyable and instead of taking, start to give back some to it's customers.

the hotel was very dark and musty.the employers were not super friendly to us. our toilet was clogged when we checked in and had to wait an hour in our room till someone got there and fixed it. On the 12th the elevators were not working and we were told we would have to take the service elevetor we waited 15 minutes and it never showed so we walked down the 9 floors.

hmmm where do i start, first we checked in on sunday august 9th, didn't have a problem on sunday, but monday we go out to the beach, we get our bag stolen off beach, so i go back to ballys to talk to someone to get a room key that was stolen, they send me to lost and found, i am in their for at least 30 minutes waiting for hotel manager to come and talk to me, after waiting 30 minutes they inform me he is tied up at another casino and cannot talk to me right now. they tell me to go back out to check in desk and they will give me another key to room, so i go back out to check in desk and their is a line with about 100 or so people in and they have 2 people working, and the 1 person didnt seem to know what she was doing, so i waited over 2 hours in line trying to get a key to get back in room, so for my inconvenience they comped me 30 dollars, okay so we go to virginia city buffet tuesday for lunch, line is fairly long and we waited, and we waited and we waited line is not moving at all, so my girlfriend goes out to host asked what is going on, host tells my girlfriend it will be at least and hour and a half until we can get in, and hour and a half for a buffet, give me a break that is really bad. so in closing i just want to say we were really disappointed with our stay at the ballys and would not recommend this place too anyone.
