Overall it was very nice. But the Tropicana is too good to have a raggedy elevator. We had to wait for 30 minutes to get off of our floor one time, and we told by staff we could walk--39 floors, I don't think so.

Not bad for the price, just okay, we had a great time at the pool and the beach. They just need to improve their elevators and organize room amenities for customer satisfaction. We love shopping at the hotel and the casino was good. More shows and activities for kids please.

HAD A GREAT TIME. WAS THERE FOR WIFE'S B-DAY. SHE LOVED IT. IT'S OUR 4 TIME AT THE TROP. IT'S GOOD FOR THE PRICE. CHECK OUT THE SHOW FAME. IT WAS GREAT. WE BRING THE KIDS FOR THE MAGIC SHOW, THE POOL AND SHOPPING. BUT MY FAVORITE SPOT IS THE HOOTERS. VERY PRETTY GIRLS AND COLD BEER.

this hotel is in need of alot of work rooms were dirty and the elevators in the west tower never came waited 30 minutes one day for elevator, if it had not been 49th floor I would have taken the stairs. No info in room about the property. Even cockroaches!!!

Upon check in we never received a directory of what was available at this casino/hotel....The room was very dirty, the drapes were all soiled, the room smelled bad of smoke even though we were on a non-smoking floor. The elevators were a whole other issue, 20 minute wait and elevator still wasn't to our 32nd floor. The indoor pool was very dirty looking so we didn't use it.
On the upside, we ate at the sports bar for lunch which was excellent as was our dinner at Carmine's. Thank goodness for the restaurants...and the shops area!!! I would recommend this hotel based upon the choice of restaurants and shops, and the imax theatre.

I spent two nights at the Tropicana and couldn't have been happier with my stay. It is a beautiful yet affordable way to enjoy all that Atlantic City has to offer. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and it was very clean. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again.

Had yet another great stay at the Tropicana. For your money, I don't think there is a better place to stay in Atlantic City. There is so much to do in the hotel/casino, the food is great, the nightlife at the Quarter is a blast, and the people have always been friendly when I've stayed. Highly recommended.

over all we had a very enjoyable time. Whatever I requested, it was no problem. The casino/hotel is like a town in itself. Easy access to beach...I only wish there was a beach bar closer to Tropicana. Will definately return!!!!!
Our housekeeper (forgot her name) was a delight!!!!
Very accomodating and attentive which made our stay more relaxing

Worst service I have ever experienced! Could not get an in-room movie without a credit card even though I offered a cash deposit. Ice machine on our floor was broken. It was not fixed by the time we left. Comps were near impossible to get when you played table games. All service personel were unpleasant or unavailable. Complaints to management were dismissed. I actually won money at the casino but lost BIG in the value and service of the hotel. Will not stay here again after many previous trips. I can now see why Pa and Vegas are winning the casino wars!

I was very disappointed in my stay here. There was a group of about 4 or so that decided to have the bachelor party at the Tropicana. It was many of our first time visiting Atlantic City and we were excited to stay there. (The hotel room was $150.00 after tax.)When we first arrived on a Sunday evening (I know it was a weird day of the week to have a bachelor party.) we waited in line for an hour to check in. Something more efficient must be done by the hotel. When we were done checking in we went to the room. We got there and noticed that the room was never cleaned after the previous guests. Beds were amiss, shower towels all over the beds and floors, food wrappers and water bottles all over. I called the customer service desk and told them about the condition of the room. The girl assured me that someone would be up to the room to clean it. She apologized but stated that no compensation would be made to us. O.K. fine... a little cheap but whatever. We went to the beach and got a late lunch and went back to the hotel THREE (3) hours later and the room was just being cleaned. We waited around for it to be finished. When it was done we finally went in to the room and we proceeded to have a line to get into the shower and get ready to go out and enjoy ourselves for the evening. The first thing that someone noticed was the shower had not even been cleaned. There were hairs pressed against the wall. The bathroom also had many signs of wear and much needed refurbishment. While we waited for our turn to goto the bathroom we decided to watch some TV..... Guess what? You can't watch TV unless you pay a fee to do so... Usually around $10.00... This was not an adult channel.. These were regular channels such as local news, comedy central and USA. You also had to pay a fee to listen to music... I almost forgot the elevators... We waited on average 15 minutes for elevator service due to the regular amount of people there.... When we first checked in and waited for an hour... Yes we also had to wait to use the elevator immediately afterwards...I wouldn't have been nearly as pissed off if it had been a Friday or Saturday night. But it was a SUNDAY... How would the Tropicana be able to handle the crowds on a Friday or Saturday? I have 2 more bachelor parties that both insist on having their events in A.C. but we will avoid the Tropicana.
