i really enjoy the roof top pool ,, longer hours would have been nice .. the room was nice , clean , the bed was very comfortable . i would have like to see inroom coffee .. the location was perfect ,, we were 2 blocks from the Walk . its all retails stores ., and you could catch the jitney 2 blocks away which for the price was nice to use to travel the lenght of the boardwalk .. the staff was very nice .. check in took a little long . but all in all .. i would recommend this hotel if you going for the first time , price and location ***** . i will problably be back next year ...

I have stayed at showboat before but this trip was the first I have stayed in the Rendezvous towers. Totally different experience. Way worth spending more money to stay in the Rendezvous towers. I wanted the biggest room possible in AC and Showboat claim to have the biggest rooms in AC. They hold true to that promise. I thought is was heaven walking into the room. The bath room OMG total girl heaven. It was way more then I expected it to be. I was really happy with my decision to stay there. The beds were very comfortable to sleep in at night. Check in and check out was smooth. Front desk was very helpful. I would do it again. The room rocked.

 We arrived and the doorman didn't welcome us and he did not care enough to give us directions or thank us for visiting. We had a reservation and waited for the reservation clerk to finish some document before asking us to come forward. She never smiled, asked us about our trip to AC or give us any form of "thanks for chosing the Resorts for your visit!" There was not a bellman to assist with our luggage and we had to travel down a long hallway to a different tower to find our room. Our room was tidy, but offered no vew(except for the rooftop of the building and the vacant lot next door! There was no refrigerator or any directons to find an ice machine. Calling the front desk was not a pleasant experience as the phone rang many times prior to someone picking up.  Some phone manners should be taught as the voice was not friendly an did not give us a feeling of "how can I assist you?" rather it was..."What do you want!?" The casino was not well attended and the dealers again, were not friendly. Not one of the six tables where we played did the dealer make anyone feel that he/she was glad that you selected the Resorts to spend your money. We weren't asked our names or where we live and nothing to give us a feeling of...thanks for spending your time and money with us. The employees just were there doing a job and not enjoying it and they did not give you the feeling of "we are glad that you are here!" The noise in the hallway could be heard in your room. The hotel towels barely were of the quality that enabled one to dry the body with the available towels provided. A great part of our stay was that the curtains in the room provided darkness in the room no matter what time it actually was outside. This was excellent when we stayed up very late....3:00 AM...and sleeping in was very nice. Another negative item....we went to the restaurant for breakfast and sat 5 minutes waiting for coffee and/or a waiter/waitress and no one came to the table so we went next door to the coffee shop just to get the opening cup! Again, service was lacking and not one employee stood out as someone who was friendly and inviting. Maybe it is just New Jersey, but I want to feel welcomed and I want service with a smile....and I am willing to pay the extra money(tips) for friendly service! If you want to feel welcomed...I suggest that you try another hotel. I remember when the Resorts was thee place to be in AC....but now it is the place where I don't want to be!

I would definatley stay at resorts again. It was better than i thought it would be. Check in and check out went very smooth. The service from the staff was impeccable. The prices were very affordable which was an even bigger plus.

Had a great overnight stay at Resorts my room was great the casino was excellent . Not a big slection of resturants in hotel one closed to early and one was closed. My overall stay at Resorts was great I will stay here again.

My brother and I decided to take a quick overnight trip to AC and couldn't beat the $57 room at Resorts. The location was great, and the condition of the casino was good. The room, however, while huge, was definitely dated and not as clean as I'd like. The bathroom floor and tiles did not look clean at all. It felt like I was sleeping over at a friend's summer house. The casino only had 6 or 7 tables open the whole time we were there, but the dealers and workers were nice. Definitely not the "cool" place to go though. Would stay here again in a similar situation, but if I were staying longer or for a special occasion would try somewhere else. (The walkway to the Taj was convenient, but there were no signs or any markings whatsoever to show you where to go...confusing and a little creepy.)

We stayed in this hotel on March 28th 2010, the location is convenient, check in is very smooth, front desk people are friendly. Our Room is clean and spacious, bathroom is clean contemporary decoration is neat. If there is a coffee machine, that will be perfect. We enjoyed the pool very much, it is in ocean tower, although from Rendezvous tower to there is not so convenient. This hotel is connected to Trump Taj mahal by a skywalk, which is good, when the weather is bad, we still can walk around, have things to do. We like the noodle bar in Resorts, price is moderate. we will come back again in the future.

When we arrived at the hotel to check in, we were told that 1 room was ready, the other was not. One of our friends got sick and was unable to come. Before we arrived, she called Atlantic City Experts.com and changed both rooms to my name, sent us the confirmation with the change, which I took with me. When I showed the front desk at Resorts, I was told that AC Experts.com needed to fax them the same confirmation I was showing them. My copy was not acceptable - Unbelievable. So I had to call my friend back & have her call and have AC Experts fax over the same confirmation to the hotel. That was done. We went back to the front desk & was told the room was not ready try back in 1 hr. We tried back & 1 hr and was told again that the room was not ready. At this point I said then give us a different room. They wanted to give us a room on a completley different floor from our friends, I said no - they ended up giving us a handicap room. We did not get in our room till 6:30pm. This is highly unacceptable. If check in is at 4pm then the room should have been ready! I will never stay at Resorts again. Oh and we were told we would be in the Rendevouz Tower & was given the Ocean Tower rooms which were older & not as modern. Also there was no entertainment at the hotel - this was a holiday weekend & not many restaurants were open.

After reading many reviews when I was booking a night out w/ my boyfriend for his birthday, I decided to go w/ Resorts because it was close to the Tai where we were seeing a show. It was either here or Showboat and walking thru Showboat, I'm very happy I chose Resorts. It was very pretty, comfortable bed, huge bathroom to get ready in, and get customer service. This is a good choice.
