A MUST HOTEL NOT TOO FAR FROM ATLANTIC CITY, August 1, 2010

THIS IS THE FIRST REVIEW I EVER DID ON A HOTEL STAY, JUST NEVER TOOK THE TIME BUT FELT THIS WAS WORTH DOING. FIRST, CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS VERY"VERY" FRIENDLY AND MADE ME AND OTHER CUSTOMERS THAT I SAW COME WHILE I WAS THERE FEEL WELCOME. MY ROOM WAS EXCELLENT, NICE BED, DECORATED NICE, CLEAN AND EVERYTHING WORKED! I WENT TO AC TO SEE A CONCERT ON THE BOARDWALK AND CAME ACROSS THIS HOTEL . I DID A TON OF SEARCHING, LOOKING AT EMENITIES THAT I WANT AND THEY HAVE AND READ REVIEWS. THEY HAD EVERYTHING I WAS LOOKING FOR. JACUZZI IN THE ROOM, POOL AND BREAKFAST. THE POOL WAS CLEAN AND WARM, HOT TUB OUTSIDE NOT WORKING. JACUZZI IN ROOM WAS GREAT. BREAKFAST WAS THE BEST AND INCLUDED WITH THE RATE. CEREALS, FRUIT, WAFFLES, JUICE, BAGELS, ETC. EXCELLENT FEATURE TO A GREAT HOTEL. THEY HAD SOME ADULT BEVERAGES ON SITE WHICH WAS NICE. MY ONLY SERIOUS COMPLAINT WAS THAT I WANTED TO TAKE THE SHUTTLE FROM THE HOTEL TO THE TROPICANA AND THEN WALK TO THE HILTON TO SEE THE FIXX IN CONCERT. WELL, SUPPOSEDLY, SHORELINE, THE NAME OF THE SERVICE IS TO COME OUT AS FAR AS THIS HOTEL IS, WHICH IS THE LAST IN LINE ON THE BLACK HORSE PIKE. THE HOTEL SAID THEY TRIED TO CALL SEVERAL TIMES AS A REMINDER AND LEFT MESSAGES FOR THE BUS TO COME AND PICK ME UP, THAT THERE IS A CUSTOME OF THERE'S THAT NEEDS A RIDE. WELL, I WAITED 2-1/2 HOURS OUT BY THE ROAD FOR THE BUS AND IT NEVER CAME. I PERSONALLY HAD TO FIND THE # FOR THE TROPICANA/BUS AND TALKED TO THEM. THEY SAID SORRY, THAT THE BUS DRIVER HAD JUST COME IN AND WAS UNLOADING CUSTOMERS RIGHT THEN AND WILL BE RIGHT OUT TO PICK ME UP, WELL, HE NEVER DID. I WAITED HOURS. I NEEDED TO BE AT THE HILTON FOR A CONCERT BY 10PM. I ENDED UP HAVING TO DRIVE MYSELF AND HAD TO FIND A PARKING SPACE IN THE DARK AND RUN TO FIND WHERE I WAS TO GO, I WAS NEVER THERE BEFORE. AND OF COURSE, GOT THERE LATE AND MISSED THE BANDS BEFORE THE FIXX, AND MISSED SEVERAL BEGINNING SONGS THE FIXX PLAYED WHICH IS WHY I WENT THERE. THEY ARE FROM ENGLAND AND ARE NOT IN THIS AREA MUCH. BE CAREFUL AS THIS IS NOT A RELIABLE SERVICE. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THE HOTEL 5 STARS BUT THERE WAS A SERIOUS MIX UP ON THERE PART WITH THE SHUTTLE SERVICE SO I GAVE THEM 4 STARA. THE HOTEL IS A BIT FAR OUT FROM AC SO THEY GOT 3 STARS BUT HEY, GREAT WEEKDAY PRICES AND FEATURES. SO FOR ME, WORTH IT. CHECK EM OUT.

I had a great stay and restaurants and casinos were close by. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. I would definitely stay here again. Golf Courses and the Bowling Alley were very close also.

The bus that takes all the hotels to the casino...can get it at any hotel for free on the strip.

Toilet clogged, poor service. Looked at 4 rooms all dirty carpets, cigarette holes in bedding, run down furniture, no blow drier, broken alarm clock, air makes noises, loose toilet lid, jacuzzi with stains, hole size of my fist under the tub. Bare sheet rock, dirty bathroom floor, tv controller did not work they sent my husband to rooms to look for working one, hot tub broken 2 years will muck in it, Trash and furniture stored at ice station, broken stair tiles, desk said they didn't have a better room. room with mirrors is honeymoon suite....say it dirty. Could not ake off shoes. DON"T STAY HERE.

I was very VERY pleased with this hotel. The room was clean, a Jacuzzi to relax your tired legs and back after a long day on the boardwalk, a fridge and a microwave. What can you ask for more?? oh yeah, that awesome bed!!! LOL
