Pros: $99 for a Friday night? Can't beat it!

Price was awesome... room size great; pool was very relaxing though staff was lax on towel service Friday evening. Called @ 2am to say tv wasn't working properly; less than 5 mins. later employee was on hand to fix situation. Complimentary breakfast from 6:30-9:30... very nice. Basic Gym, though open 24 hrs. Air conditioning could have worked better. Overall, good price for one night stay..would definitely go back!

Pros: service comfort ambience quiet
Cons: check in time 4pm, and rooms not ready till 430 (complimentary late check-out at 1pm)

7 milesfrom AC Free shuttle service to and from Tropicana up to 1 am (Hey, we drink *responsibly* ;-)

good to get away from the hustle of the on boardwalk hotels, but easy enough to get to the boardwalk if in the mood.

definitely equivalently comfortable rooms for a fraction (1/3) of the money of an on boardwalk hotel

Clarion Convention Center hotel in Pleasantville, NJ has a decent location as it's very close to just about everything you would need on your trip: restaurants, bars, shopping, department stores etc. Customers always compliment the convenience of the bar (Dr. T's) and restaurant (Shari's Steakhouse) as well as the ample free parking. A first floor gift shop is big plus, outdoor seasonal swimming pool and nice exercise room are additional amenities.
