We stay at the Borgata about 3 times a year mostly due to the generous comps. The check in lines are usually quite long but they move fast due to the number of agents and the efficiency of the process. The standard rooms are the best in AC. In most hotels the "standard rooms" are usually the most undesirable in the complex. At the Borgata you always know what you are getting because all of the standard rooms are the same - excellent! The little bar (with a refrigerator) in the armoire is a great touch; adds to the celebratory feeling. I have a bad back and the beds are very good. I don't ache all over when I awake. The bathroom is lovely, especially the large, walk-in shower (great for couples). We always have one meal during our stay at the Old Homestead. We have tried most of the other restaurants, and we always come back to Old Homestead. The steaks are wonderful (get the porterhouse if you can).I play slots; my husband likes roulette. I have never won a good jackpot but I still enjoy. I would like to see more new slots since I get bored easily.
