We chose this hotel due to it being the best rate we could find, last minute, in Atlantic City for a Saturday night. The restaurants were VERY expensive, and not that nice. The room itself was decent, but the BATHROOM was downright NASTY. there was hair on the floor, the tiles were mildewy, and musty. We didn't want to bathe there. And the size of the bathroom itself was just way too small. If you've ever stayed in Vegas, this was just a disappointment!! The sink vanity was a yellowish ugly old marble. The water pressure was terrible. The hotel door itself didn't shut closed - - it would just remain ajar unless u forced it closed. The TV cabinet door (ugly mirrored cabinet) wouldn't stay open all the way. The bedding was ok, but not crisp. I guess you get what you pay for! We had a view of the bay, and luckily no helicopters came, since the helio pad was RIGHT outside the window. Altho, on the plus side, we could see our car in the parking garage from our window. The steakhouse had steaks for no less than $50 an entree, so we decided to eat at the Harborview restaurant. The restaurant just needed some updating, and the average age of the diners was about 75 (altho, that may be typical of AC, I don't know). Very expensive, but my husband did enjoy his primerib ($38, and very large portion size). The breakfast buffet was free and was adequate, although, again, the decor really needs an updating (picture blonde woods, peach walls, very dated). The casino itself was ok and we did win a small amount of $$, so maybe that's all that matters in the final analysis!!!!The staff seemed old and tired, with outfits that were so hideous (even the casino waitresses) that it was noticeably depressing!!!!
