I booked a reservation for my parents 29th anniversay online. Once they arrived and tried to check-in the reservation was no where to be found. Luckily, I had given all the email confirmations I had recieved from the hotel and the website confirming thier reservation. They had to wait over an hour to get the situation cleared up and actually get into a room and they were not even compensated with a room upgrade or meal offer. The buffet closed at 8pm and the only resatuarnt in the hotel that was open served Indian cuisine. Also, they had to use a parking lot because the Taj's parking garage was not sufficient to park an oversized pickup truck with a cabin and double axle. I have stayed in many hotel as I travel alot for work and have never dealt with such arrogance. I hope that it was just a glich in thier system and that they hotel staff were just having a bad day. I might be willing to try the Taj again but I have doubts about thier reservation system and thier employees that lack respect and knowledge of thier own reservation bookings.
